見色心先現，聞聲道已彰，掣電光中分皂白，海潮音裏別宮商，韶陽老，慈門普，發機直用千鈞弩。

Seeing forms, the mind appears first; / Hearing sounds, the Way is already evident. / Within the flash of lightning, black and white are distinguished; / Amidst the sound of the ocean tide, the musical tones are discerned. / The Old Man of Shaoyang, his gate of compassion is vast; / In releasing the dynamic trigger, he employs straightaway a thousand-catty crossbow.
