上堂云：「月圓月望、月旦月朔，斬釘截鐵、堆山積嶽，小乘錢貫、大乘井索，有漏笊籬、無漏木杓，定龍蛇句全殺活，散向諸方任貶剝。參！」

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "The full moon, the fifteenth of the month, the first of the month, the new moon; severing nails and cutting through iron, piling up mountains and amassing peaks. Small Vehicle string of cash, Great Vehicle well-rope; leaky colander, leakless wooden ladle. The phrase determining dragons and snakes kills and revives entirely, cast out to all directions to be depreciated or picked apart at will. Investigate!"
