上堂云：「行棒行喝，拽石搬土，象骨輥毬，禾山打鼓，溈嶺牧牛，玄沙見虎，喫茶趙州，面壁魯祖，爭似老雲門臘月二十五。參！」

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "Applying the stick and shouting; hauling stones and carrying earth; Xianggu rolling the ball; Heshan beating the drum; Guishan herding the ox; Xuansha seeing the tiger; Zhaozhou drinking tea; Luzu facing the wall. How can that match old Yunmen's 'twenty-fifth day of the twelfth month'? Investigate!"
