上堂：「一二三四五六七，今朝此月當初一，昨宵大火還西流，金風動地聲蕭瑟。聲蕭瑟，圓通門大啟，便請直截入。還委悉麼？有念盡為煩惱鎖，無心端是水晶宮。」

Ascending the hall: "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven—this morning this month falls on the first. Last night the Great Fire star flowed west again; the autumn wind shakes the earth with a soughing sound. The sound is soughing; the gate of universal penetration is flung wide open. Please enter directly! Do you understand? All having of thoughts is a fetter of affliction; being without mind is truly the crystal palace."
