冬朔上堂云：「日日日，劈箭急，朝朝暮暮轉滄溟，箇是人間好消息。力㘞叱，更須高著眼，免使頭虛白。」
Ascending the hall on the first of the winter month, the Master said: "Day after day after day, swift as a split arrow; morning after morning and evening after evening, the dark ocean turns.
