十月一日上堂云：「無邊剎海廓同太虛，昨宵秋盡今日冬初，曾無變易豈有親疎，直下歇去蘇嚕蘇嚕。」

Ascending the hall on the first day of the tenth month, the master said: "The boundless oceans of lands are vast and identical to great space; last night autumn ended, today is the beginning of winter. There has never been change or alteration—how could there be closeness or distance? Directly rest right here: suru suru!"
