6.6

大內貴妃請，上堂云：「一句子出於千聖頂門，一妙機發於無盡寶藏，逈無依倚、杳絕端倪，非色非心、非如非異，盡虛空、窮法界，都盧是箇大解脫門。爾諸人，浩浩地於中出入，還覺寒毛卓竪麼？若向脚跟下，一念不生全體顯露，則淨裸裸活鱍鱍，要行即行，要住即住，要用即用，要休即休，不指第二頭，不落第二見，到這裏亘古亘今凝然寂照。若踏著去，透脫生死是甚閑事？能以無漏根力，建法幢立宗旨，衣被一切群靈，盡未來際無有窮盡。正當恁麼時，且道承誰恩力？還委悉麼？五蘊山頭無相佛，放光動地廓周沙。頌云：一心無住著，遍界法王家，崇成無漏福，端坐寶蓮華。」

Requested by the Imperial Noble Consort of the Inner Palace, ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "A single phrase emerges from the crowns of the heads of a thousand sages; a subtle dynamic issues from an inexhaustible treasure store. Completely without reliance, totally devoid of clue or trace, neither form nor mind, neither suchness nor difference—exhausting empty space and spanning the entire Dharma realm, all of it is a great gate of liberation. All of you, drifting about in its coming and going, do you still feel your hair standing on end? If beneath your own feet, when not a single thought arises, the entire body is fully revealed, then it is clean, bare, brisk, and lively: to go if you want to go, to stay if you want to stay, to use if you want to use, to cease if you want to cease, not pointing to a second head, not falling into a second view. Arriving here, from ancient times to the present, it is solidified in serene illumination. If you tread upon it, what trifling matter is penetrating through birth and death? One can, with undefiled faculties and powers, erect the Dharma banner and establish the ancestral lineage, clothing and covering all living beings without exhaustion to the end of future kalpas. Just at such a moment, tell me: whose gracious power is received? Do you understand? The formless Buddha atop the mountain of the five aggregates / Emits light, shakes the earth, and covers the sands of worlds. The verse says: The single mind has no clinging; / The entire realm is the Dharma King's house. / Bringing to perfection undefiled blessings, / Sitting upright on the jewel lotus flower."
