16.50

[The Master] cited: "Former Baoshou asked Latter Baoshou, 'Before parents gave birth to you, which was your original face?' Latter Baoshou was at a loss. One day in the marketplace he saw two men quarreling; one man urged them, saying, 'How can you be so shameless [faceless]?' Baoshou thereupon had great awakening." The Master said, "Bumping against it, striking it, straight on it displays the scenery of the fundamental ground; responding to sounds, responding to forms, right under it there is not the slightest leak. Do you still understand his saying, 'How can you be so shameless'? The dragon sleeves brush open, and the whole body appears."
