浴佛上堂：「今朝正是四月八，淨飯王宮生悉達，吐水九龍天外來，棒足七蓮從地發，點胸點肋獨稱尊，大口開張自矜伐，都盧住世七旬餘，四十九年恣忉怛。賴有雲門老跛師，一棒當時要打殺，人人盡道報佛恩，將此深心奉塵剎。獨有徑山即不然，既不然，合作麼生？下座，同到殿上，為諸人說破。」

Ascending the hall on the Bathing the Buddha festival: "Today is precisely the eighth day of the fourth month; in King Śuddhodana's palace, Siddhārtha was born. Nine dragons came from beyond the sky spouting water; seven lotuses grew from the ground to support his feet. Pointing to his chest and pointing to his ribs, he alone was called the honored one; opening his big mouth, he boasted of himself. Altogether living in the world for more than seventy [years], for forty-nine years he indulged in distress. Fortunately there was the old lame master Yunmen, who at that time wanted to beat him to death with a staff. Everyone says to repay the Buddha's kindness by offering this profound mind to dust-like realms. Only Jingshan does not do so. Since it is not so, what should be done? Descend from the seat, and together go to the hall, where I will explain it thoroughly for you all."
