19.37

學此道，未得箇入頭處時，覺得千難萬難，聞宗師舉覺，愈覺難會，蓋以取證求歇底心不除，返被此作障礙。此心纔歇，方知非難非易，亦非師家可以傳授。

In studying this Way, when one has not yet found an entry point, one feels that it is fraught with countless difficulties. Hearing a master bring it up and awaken one to it, one feels all the more that it is hard to understand. This is because the mind of seeking realization and craving rest has not been removed, and one is obstructed by this instead. The moment this mind rests, only then does one know it is neither difficult nor easy, nor is it something that a master can transmit.
