上堂：「山僧今日設粥供養大眾，粥罷同到龍王殿念誦，念誦罷普請送彥化主茶毘。如此事多，若是祖師西來意，未有工夫說得。」

Ascending the hall: "Today this mountain monk provides congee as an offering to the great assembly. After the congee, together we will go to the Dragon King Hall for recitation; after recitation, there is a general call to send off Alms-fund Director Yan for cremation. There are so many affairs like this; if it is the meaning of the Patriarch's coming from the West, there has not yet been time to speak of it."
