上堂：「拆去東籬，補起西壁，徑山門下，全無準的。有準的，誰委悉？僧堂覷破香積厨，鴟吻咬殺佛殿脊。」

Ascending the high seat: "Dismantling the eastern fence, patching up the western wall—under the gate of Jingshan, there is no standard at all. If there were a standard, who would understand it? The monks' hall sees right through the fragrant kitchen; the roof-ridge owl bites to death the ridge of the Buddha hall."
