結夏上堂：「文殊三處安居，誌公不是閑和尚，迦葉欲行正令，未免眼前見鬼。且道：徑山門下今日事作麼生？下座後大家觸禮三拜。」

Ascending the high seat for the start of the summer retreat: "Mañjuśrī spent the summer retreat in three places; Master Zhi was not an idle monk. When Kāśyapa wished to enforce the proper rule, he could not avoid seeing ghosts right before his eyes. But tell me: what about the affair under Jingshan's gate today? After stepping down from the seat, let everyone make three prostrations touching [the ground]."
