4.39

上堂，舉：「僧問雲門：『如何是透法身句？』門云：『北斗裏藏身。』」師云：「雲門老人恁麼道，只答得法身句，未答得透法身句。今日或有人問徑山：『如何是透法身句？』即向他道：『蟭螟眼裏放夜市，大蟲舌上打鞦韆。』」

Ascending the high seat, [the Master] cited: "A monk asked Yunmen, 'What is the phrase that penetrates the dharmakāya?' Yunmen said, 'Hiding one's body within the Northern Dipper.'" The Master said, "Old Yunmen spoke like this, but he only answered the phrase of the dharmakāya; he did not yet answer the phrase that penetrates the dharmakāya. Today, if someone were to ask Jingshan, 'What is the phrase that penetrates the dharmakāya?' I would immediately say to him, 'Setting up a night market in the eye of a midge; swinging on a swing on the tongue of a tiger.'"
