上堂：「相逢不拈出，舉意便知有，巍巍不動尊，脚不離地走。既是不動尊，為甚麼却走？」喝一喝云：「依稀似曲纔堪聽，又被風吹別調中。」

Ascending the hall: "Meeting each other, nothing is brought forth; as soon as a thought arises, one knows it is there. Loftily towering, the Immovable Honoured One runs without his feet leaving the ground. Since he is the Immovable Honoured One, why does he run?" Giving a shout, he said, "Vaguely resembling a tune, it is barely fit to hear, / yet blown by the wind into another tune again."
