歲旦上堂：「一年三百六十日，今朝又是從頭起，人人有箇主人公，水牛銜却老鼠尾。深沙歡，那吒喜，佛殿走出三門去，僧堂撞入厨庫裏。敢問大眾：還有不遷義也無？」自云：「有。作麼生是不遷義？東君行正令，華發樹南枝。」

Ascending the hall on New Year's Day: "Three hundred and sixty days in a year, and today it starts all over again from the beginning. Everyone has a master: the water buffalo holds the rat's tail in its mouth. Shensha is delighted, Nezha is pleased; the Buddha Hall walks out past the triple gate, and the Monks' Hall crashes into the kitchen storehouse. I dare to ask the great assembly: is there still the meaning of non-movement?" He said himself, "There is. What is the meaning of non-movement? The Lord of the East carries out the proper ordinance; flowers bloom on the southern branches of trees."
