8.19

示眾，舉：「僧問趙州：『百骸俱潰散，一物鎮長靈時如何？』州云：『今朝又風起。』」師云：「今朝又風起，鬧處莫插觜，觸著閻羅王，帶累陰司鬼。」

He instructed the assembly by citing: "A monk asked Zhaozhou: 'When the hundred bones all crumble and scatter, and the one thing is forever spirit-like, how is it?' Zhaozhou said: 'This morning the wind has arisen again.'"

The Master said: "This morning the wind has arisen again; do not stick your beak into noisy places. If you touch King Yama, you will drag down the ghosts of the nether court."
