To know one is deluded and not awaken is a great mistake; to cling to delusion and wait for awakening is an even greater mistake. Why is this? It is because through lack of awakening that one is deluded. Clinging to delusion and waiting for awakening is being unawakened within lack of awakening, deluded within delusion. If you decisively wish to break through these two layers of barriers, please let go of them at once. If you cannot let go, being deluded and awakened, when to the end of future kalpas will it ever come to rest?
