Ascending the hall: "The root of sentient beings takes the ocean of wisdom as its source; the flow of conscious beings unites the dharmakāya as its substance. Now then, which is the source of the ocean of wisdom? Which is the substance of the dharmakāya? If you recognize this source, thousands and myriads of sources are just this one source; if you recognize this substance, thousands and myriads of substances are just this one substance. Therefore it is said: 'Boundless land-realms—self and other are not separated by the tip of a hair; past and present across the ten periods—from beginning to end are not apart from the present thought.' Although it is so, a true man inherently possesses an ambition that soars to the heavens; do not walk where the Tathāgata walks."
