大慧普覺禪師語錄 4.31

4.31

Ascending the hall on the Imperial Birthday, after offering incense, there was suddenly thunder and a downpour of rain. He then said: "Strike the Dharma thunder, beat the Dharma drum, spread the clouds of compassion, and sprinkle the sweet dew! Just now the Dharma thunder has already struck, the Dharma drum has already been beaten, the clouds of compassion have already spread, and the sweet dew has already been sprinkled. It accords with phenomena, and it accords with principle. Since phenomena and principle are already in accord, how will you understand it? Step down from the seat, and let us go with the great assembly to the Great Buddha Hall to inaugurate the Qianlong Imperial Birthday."
