勅黃示眾云：「鳳闕頒宣，群生聳耳，當陽拈出，匝地普天，喚回枯木龍吟，別是一壺春色。若也見得，皇恩佛恩一時報畢；其或未然，却請維那分明宣過。」

the imperial edict, showed it to the assembly, and said: "Promulgated from the phoenix palace, all living beings prick up their ears; brought forth directly in the open, it covers the earth and spans the heavens, calling back the dragon's chant in the withered wood, creating another world of spring scenery. If you can see it, the imperial favor and the Buddha's favor are repaid all at once; if not yet so, I ask the rector to clearly proclaim it."
