出鄉，上堂：「六月炎炎如火熱，誰知冷處勝氷雪？紅塵鬧市等箇人，七佛軌儀都漏泄。報龍王須福護，大千揑聚為檀度，一言劄住萬機通，自然光壯少林風。」

Leaving the village, he ascended the hall and said: "The blazing heat of the sixth month is hot as fire; / who knows the cold place surpasses ice and snow? / In the red dust of the bustling market awaiting that person, / the regulations and decorum of the seven buddhas are all leaked out. / Inform the dragon kings that they must grant blessings and protection; / pressing the great chiliocosm together serves as dāna. / A single word pinned down, the myriad mechanisms penetrate; / naturally it glorifies and invigorates the style of Shaolin."
