復舉：「世尊一日食時將至，勅阿難持鉢云：『當依七佛儀式。』阿難遂問：『如何是七佛儀式？』世尊召阿難，阿難應喏。世尊云：『持鉢去！』」師云：「大小世尊被阿難輕輕靠著，未免喚鐘作甕。」

He further cited: "One day when the time for eating was approaching, the Bhagavat commanded Ānanda to take the bowl, saying: 'You should rely on the ritual formula of the seven buddhas.' Ānanda then asked: 'What is the ritual formula of the seven buddhas?' The Bhagavat called: 'Ānanda!' Ānanda answered: 'Yes!' The Bhagavat said: 'Go with the bowl!'" The master said: "The great and small Bhagavats were lightly jostled by Ānanda; inevitably, they called a bell a crock."
