聖節上堂：「摩訶衍法，離四句、絕百非，諸佛說不到，拂子善提持。」乃舉起拂子云：「還見麼？以此祝君壽，壽算等須彌。」

Ascending the hall on the imperial birthday: "The Mahāyāna Dharma leaves behind the four propositions and cuts off the hundred negations; all Buddhas cannot speak of it, yet the whisk holds it up well." Thereupon he raised the whisk and said: "Do you still see it? Using this to wish the Sovereign long life, may his lifespan equal Sumeru."
