淳熙十年八月初三日乞退靈隱，得旨上堂：「四年居此日波波，累及禪和不奈何，今感聖恩林下去，一輪秋月照天河。」

On the third day of the eighth month in the tenth year of the Chunxi reign era, having begged to retire from Lingyin and received imperial approval, [the Master] ascended the hall:
"Residing here for four years, busy day by day,
I have troubled the fellows of Chan with no way out.
Now grateful for imperial grace, I go off to the forests;
A round autumn moon shines upon the Heavenly River."
