上堂：「默時說，說時默，寒山逢拾得，拈箇禿掃帚東掃西掃，忽然撞著豐干禪師騎虎出來，放下苕帚把手呵呵大笑，恰似販私鹽底草賊，有什麼共語處？」復召大眾云：「且道他笑箇什麼？」良久云：「東君行正令，花發樹南枝。」喝一喝。
