冬至上堂，僧問：「群陰消盡，一陽復生，衲僧家到此，如何轉身？」師云：「老鼠入牛角。」僧云：「和尚忒殺方便。」師云：「仁者見之謂之仁。」

Ascending the hall on the winter solstice, a monk asked, "The crowd of yins is completely exhausted, and the single yang returns to life. When patch-robed monks reach this point, how do they turn their bodies?" The Master said, "A mouse entering a bull's horn." The monk said, "The upādhyāya is exceedingly accommodating." The Master said, "The benevolent see it and call it benevolence."
