元正上堂：「嘉熙紀運，淳祐開圖，曆數既長，倒指難數，且道，今日是甚麼日？」卓主丈：「辛丑歲首，烏飛兔走。」

Ascending the hall on New Year's Day: "The era Jiaxi opened the cycle, Chunyou unfolds the chart; the calendar numbers being long, counting backward on the fingers is difficult. Tell me, what day is today?" Planting his staff: "The beginning of the xinchou year; the crow flies and the hare runs."
