復舉：「孝宗皇帝問佛照禪師：『世尊雪山六年，所成者何事？』佛照奏云：『將謂陛下忘却。』」師云：「君臣慶會，日照天臨，斡旋造化之元樞，奮發風雷之大用。然雖如是，還知太平無象麼？」

He also cited: "Emperor Xiaozong asked Chan Master Fozhao, 'When the World-Honoured One was at the Snowy Mountains for six years, what matter did he accomplish?' Fozhao presented the reply: 'I thought Your Majesty had forgotten it.'"
The master said, "Ruler and minister celebrate their meeting; the sun shines and Heaven looks down, turning the primal axis of creation and unleashing the great functioning of wind and thunder. Although this is so, do you still know that the Great Peace has no signs?"
