請監收上堂：「無生田地，有種有收，時節到來，自然成熟。衲僧家開著口，少他一時子不得，若非本色人，難以絕滲漏。且那箇是本色人？」卓主丈：「公。」

Inviting the superintendent of harvests [to take office], he ascended the hall: "In the field of the unconditioned, there is sowing and there is harvesting; when the season arrives, it ripens naturally. When patch-robed monks open their mouths, they cannot do without him for a single moment. If one is not an authentic person, it is difficult to cut off leakage. Now, which one is an authentic person?" Striking his staff: "You, sir!"
