上堂：「汝諸人盡被聲色所轉，何不鼓聲未動，來法堂前行一兩遭？雖然，報恩更點火，照爾面在。」
Ascending the hall: "All of you are completely turned by sound and form. Why, before the drum sounds, don't you come before the Dharma hall and take a turn or two? Even so, Bao'en will still light a torch and illuminate your faces."
