開爐上堂：「箇裡無峻機妙用與人湊泊，老來畏寒，只要說些火爐頭話。且道火爐頭說甚麼話？恐冷灰豆爆，彈破諸人鼻孔。」

Ascending the hall for opening the stove: "Here there is no steep dynamic or wondrous function for people to approach. Growing old, I fear the cold, and only wish to speak some fireside words. But tell me, what words are spoken by the fireside? I fear that in the cold ashes a bean will pop and burst all your nostrils."
