2.118

復舉：「五祖因僧問：『如何是道？』祖云：『始平郡。』僧又問：『如何是道中人？』祖云：『赤心為主。』」師云：「五祖恐者僧信根未深，囑之又囑。且道節文在甚麼處？逗源河，擘泰華，須是其人。」

He also raised: "A monk asked Wuzu, 'What is the Way?' Wuzu said, 'Shiping Commandery.' The monk also asked, 'What is the person within the Way?' Wuzu said, 'A sincere heart serves the lord.'" The Master said, "Fearing that this monk's root of faith was not yet deep, Wuzu urged him again and again. But tell me, where is the crucial turn? To stop the source of the river and cleave Mount Taihua requires just such a person."
