乃云：「師曠之聰，离婁之明，因甚有眼，終日不見鼻孔。下得一轉語，合得老僧，樹下塚間，許爾妄想；不然，老胡失望。」

He then said, "Shi Kuang's hearing, Li Lou's eyesight—why is it that, having eyes, all day long they do not see their nostrils? If you can produce a turning phrase that accords with this old monk, beneath the trees and among the graves, I will allow your delusions; otherwise, the Old Barbarian has lost hope."
