上堂：「天寒人寒，大家在者裏，與麼會得，鐵板障也須退縫。不然，本擬屠龍，翻成射虎。」
Ascending the hall, [the master said]: "The weather is cold and people are cold; everyone is right here. If you understand it in this way, even an iron-plate barrier must loosen its seams. If not, what was originally intended as slaying a dragon turns out to be shooting a tiger."
