上堂，舉：「雪峯示眾：『望州亭與汝相見了也，烏石嶺與汝相見了也，僧堂前與汝相見了也。』」師云：「莫快坐來頻勸酒，自從別後見君稀。」

Ascending the hall, he brought up [the case]: "Xuefeng instructed the assembly: 'I have met with you at Wangzhou Pavilion; I have met with you at Wushi Ridge; I have met with you before the monks' hall.'" The master said: "Do not quickly sit down and frequently urge wine; / Since parting, meetings with you have been rare."
