示眾：「針鋒頭上透天關，著意忘懷兩不堪，直下早踰千萬劫，即今成佛未同參。所以雪峯道：『望州亭與汝相見了也，烏石嶺與汝相見了也，僧堂前與汝相見了也。』若是靈利漢，聊聞舉著，剔起便行，更不周由者也。還委悉麼？出頭天外看，誰是我般人。」

Instructing the assembly: "Penetrating the celestial pass on the point of a needle, / Applying intention and forgetting thoughts are both intolerable. / Directly going under, millions of kalpas have already passed; / Even attaining buddhahood right now has not yet matched the same practice. / Therefore Xuefeng said, 'At Wangzhou Pavilion I met you; at Wushi Ridge I met you; in front of the monks' hall I met you.' If you are a sharp fellow, hearing it briefly mentioned, you will perk up and walk on, without lingering and hesitating. Do you understand? Stick your head out beyond heaven and see: who is a person like me?"
