舉：「雲門問巴陵雪峯道：『開却門達磨來也，意作麼生？』陵云：『築著和尚鼻孔。』門云：『修羅惡發，把須彌山一摑，𨁝跳上梵天報帝釋，為甚麼却去日本國裏藏身？』陵云：『莫恁麼心行好。』門云：『汝道築著又作麼生？』」

He cited: "Yunmen asked Baling: 'Xuefeng said: "Opening the door, Bodhidharma has arrived; what does this mean?"' [Ba]ling said: 'Bumping into the upādhyāya's nostrils.' [Yun]men said: 'When the asura becomes enraged, he strikes Mount Sumeru with a slap, leaps up to the Brahmā heaven to report to Śakra—why then does he go to hide away in Japan?' [Ba]ling said: 'It is best not to have such a mind.' [Yun]men said: 'What do you say to having bumped into them?'"
