謝監收上堂：「刈禾鎌子，未露鋒鋩，多少祖師乞命；秤尺斗量，權衡在握，目機銖兩無差。要知兩處收功，塞斷衲僧枵腹。塞斷後如何？」卓主丈：「臨濟掌黃檗。」
