師乃云：「七步周行猶彷彿，指天指地不分明，是非既落傍人耳，洗到驢年也不清。」

The master then said: "Walking seven steps around is still vague; / Pointing to heaven and pointing to earth is not clear. / Since right and wrong have fallen into the ears of bystanders, / Washing until the Year of the Donkey will not make it clean."
