8.82

開爐上堂，謝　降賜錢翻蓋僧堂：「鱗鱗鴛瓦，絕滲漏於枯木堂中；赫赫紅爐，回煖律於衲僧衣下。可以坐忘空劫、力究心宗，從教黃葉堆雲，免致霜風戒曉。麗金崑玉，降自九重。坐臥經行。舉頭戴德。」

Opening the stove, he ascended the hall to give thanks for the bestowal of funds to reroof the Saṅgha hall: "Fish-scaled mandarin-duck tiles put an end to leakage in the hall of withered wood; a blazing red furnace brings back the warm season beneath the patch-robed monks' robes. Now we can sit and forget the empty eon, striving to investigate the mind lineage, letting yellow leaves pile like clouds, spared from frost winds announcing the dawn. Beautiful gold and Kunlun jade descended from the Ninefold Sovereign. In sitting, lying, and walking meditation, we raise our heads and wear this beneficence."
