謝監收上堂：「禾子熟也，世間好事人皆聽，刈鎌一舉，鉢盂無底貯虛空，古今差別情通，主丈頭邊路活。且道，往來飽德，所主者何人？」卓主丈：「家住海門東，槫桑最先照。」

Ascending the hall to express gratitude to the supervisor of the harvest: "The grain has ripened; in the world, good affairs are heard by all. Once the sickle is raised, the bottomless alms-bowl stores empty space. The distinctions of past and present penetrate feeling; at the tip of the staff, the road is alive. Tell me, who is the host who enables travelers to be filled with virtue?" Striking the staff, [he said]: "Living east of the sea gate, the Fusang tree is shone upon first."
