乃云：「金色世界人，見月必喜，為它坐在淨潔地上，始終脫不得。洞山云：『折合還歸炭裏坐。』蓋曹洞宗旨，以炭謂之正位。會得方檢點得馬大師；不然，一併轄向炭庫裏坐。」

He then said: "People of the golden world are always delighted to see the moon; because they sit on clean and pure ground, from beginning to end they cannot break free. Dongshan said: 'Turn around and return to sit within the charcoal.' Generally, the ancestral style of Caodong considers charcoal to be the correct position. If you understand this, only then can you inspect Master Mazu; if not, you will be driven together to sit in the charcoal storehouse."
