運菴和尚忌日，拈香：「吽㗶吒喇竭節，地轉天回難辨別，不使松源省數錢，慣用衲僧鎖口訣，同死不同生，特地成途轍，秋風影裏重羅列，義斷情忘四十年，何時待得龜成鼈？」

On the memorial day of Venerable Yun'an, he offered incense: "'Hūṃ phaṭ traṭ ra'—tied up in knots; the earth turns, heaven rotates, difficult to distinguish! Not letting Songyuan save on counting coins, accustomed to using the patch-robed monks' formula for locking mouths. Dying together, not living together, specially making ruts and tracks; re-arrayed amid the shadows of the autumn wind. Ties severed, feelings forgotten for forty years—when can one wait for the water turtle to become a soft-shelled turtle?"
