9.37

佛涅槃上堂：「天不文，地不理，忽去忽來，如月印水，歲月已往兮，波旬得時，槨示雙趺兮，飲光增喜，悲兮喜兮，春風桃李，一以貫之，曾子曰：『唯。』」

Ascending the hall on the Buddha's Nirvāṇa Day: "Heaven has no pattern, earth has no order; suddenly departing, suddenly arriving, like the moon imprinting upon the water. The years and months have passed—Pāpīmān has his day. The coffin reveals the pair of feet—Pīndoladhvaja (Kāśyapa) rejoices all the more. Sorrowful, yet joyful: spring breezes, peach and plum blossoms. 'My doctrine is traversed by a single thread.' Zengzi said: 'Yes.'"
