上堂：「一喝分賓主，照用一時行。且道，賓主作麼生分？若分得，犯突吉羅罪；若分不得，背地裏捫心。」

Ascending the hall: "With a single shout, guest and host are distinguished; illumination and action are carried out simultaneously. Tell me, how are guest and host distinguished? If you can distinguish them, you commit an offense of duṣkṛta; if you cannot distinguish them, you grope your heart in secret."
