Clumsy young gentleman, his ingenuity unrecognized by anyone; he smashes the Fenglin Pass and stands upon the water wearing boots.'"
The master said, "Shoushan claimed to have the authentic transmission of Linji, yet he made the cry of a wild fox, causing sons and grandsons throughout the world to drag through mud and drip with water, every single one."
