資福和尚到上堂云。玉線金針相續難。劫壺空處妙。投關。香林煙暖風排雪。月窟氷寒影轉山。裡許借功方得活。那時退位不知閑。宗家密密綿綿事。布施多人莫要慳。

When the Venerable of Zifu arrived, [the Master] ascended the hall and said: "Jade thread and golden needle are difficult to continue. / Where the pot of the kalpa is empty, it wonderfully fits the pass. / In the fragrant grove smoke is warm, wind clearing away the snow; / In the moon cave ice is cold, shadows turning the mountains. / In this realm, only by borrowing function does one come alive; / At that moment, stepping back from position, one knows no leisure. / The lineage school's secret, continuous affair— / Bestow it upon many people; do not be stingy."
