上堂云。本來田地無涯岸。極目寒光成一片。消息平沈佛也迷。機輪轉側誰能辨。看看。雪山山下擁蓑人。白牛一掣芒繩斷參。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "The fundamental field has no boundary; as far as the eye can see, cold light forms a single sheet. The message completely sinks away—even Buddhas are bewildered; when the wheel of potential turns, who can discern it? Look, look! At the foot of the Snow Mountain, a man huddled in a coir raincoat; with a single tug of the white ox, the miscanthus rope snaps. Participate!"
