上堂云。何須更舉揚。全體露堂堂。濕暑時時雨。薰風陣陣香。秧針初透水痕淺。蒲力欲剪柳絲長。雙六盤中休喝彩。分明觸事恰相當。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "Why is there any need to bring it forth further? / The complete substance is manifested tall and dignified. / In the humid heat, intermittent rain; / In the fragrant breeze, wave upon wave of scent. / Seedling needles first pierce through, the watermarks shallow; / The cattail's strength about to cut, the willow threads long. / In the backgammon board, cease crying out in triumph; / Clearly, in encountering things, they match exactly."
